Mumbai: A 40-year-old woman was deceived by Rs 98,000 by a cybercriminal who posed as an employee of the application cabin provider.
The woman registered complaints with the police station and Colony Aarey officers were investigating further.
The woman is a resident of Thane West.
He told the police in his complaint that the incident occurred last month while he took his son to make a film at Goregaon’s Aarey Colony for film auditions.
