Mumbai: fire broke in high-rise bldg; no victims

Mumbai: A small fire broke in an apartment in a 35-storey building in the Worli Mumbai area in Wee hours on week, said an API official.
It was a ‘level-1’ (minor) fire and no one was injured, he said.
The fire department received a call at 1.53 in the morning about the fire in the flat located on the 17th floor of the ‘Marathon’ building at Gandhi Nagar Locality of Worli, the official said.
Local police officers and firefighting officials rushed to the place and flames around 2.15 in the morning, he said.
The furniture stored in the flat was broken on the flames, he added.
