Mumbai: The elevator fell in a building in byculla on Saturday night injuring five people covering three women and two children.
The fifth was rushed to the JJ hospital managed by the government and his condition was said to be stable.
According to information, the elevator at Gulmohar Terrace Building in Khadia Street, New Cafe Paradise, fainted at around 11:05 a.m.
on Saturday night.
This building is land plus 18 floors built under the slum rehabilitation authority scheme (SRA).
The fire brigade set it as an incident level 1.
Injuries have been identified as Huma Khan (24), Arsha Khan (7), Sehan Kadri (3), Nilophar Shaikh (36) and Shahin Khan (45).
