Mumbai: Mumbai police raided a gambler at Aarey Colony in Suburban Goregaon and arrested 24 people during the operation, an official said on Thursday.
Based on the tip-off, the police special team stormed the gambler in the Kombat in the Aarey Colony on Tuesday, the official said.
Police arrested 24 people suspected of being involved in illegal activities and captured cash with a tone of Rs 1.40 lakh and other ingredients from the place, he said.
The defendant has been ordered under the relevant section of gambling and further investigation into progress, officially added.
