Mumbai: Police Matunga on Friday arrested a 30-year-old New Delhi resident for allegedly deceiving a 23-year-old man of Rs 1.53 lakh with his luring it with gigolo work.
The defendant, Rohitkumar Gowardhan, was arrested from New Delhi’s residence.
Complainants, the son of a police officer, who saw the ad on the internet for ‘Call Boy’, found the number listed in the ad.
He called the number and the recipient call told him about job profiles, said he had to entertain their company’s clients.
“The person who answered the call told the police sons that the company would save 20% and he would be given 80% of the costs they would get from their clients.

“The victim contacted the second client who repeated the same condition and asked him to transfer 1.21 lakh to the account, said it would be returned to him along with the cost.
The complainant took money from his father and sent it to the account.

A police team led by Psi Rajabhau Garad, gathered a bank account details where the complainant had transferred money, detailed SIM card and arrested the defendant from his residence in New Delhi.
