Mumbai: Heavy rains attacked the city and outskirts early on Friday.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) has warned “heavy to very heavy rain in isolated places” in Mumbai, Thane and Palghar under the orange warning for Friday.
Mumbai will watch a high wave of 4.59 meters on Friday at 11:37 am.
The other high fell 4.01 meters is expected at 11:32 this afternoon.
The maximum city will watch the low tide of 1.68 meters at 17:42 on July 23.
Road traffic has been disturbed in several parts of Kalyan Timur.
Heavy rain which began on Wednesday night has caused flooding in the area along the River Waldhuni and Ulhas.
Suburban trains on the main route of the central train and port lines are on schedule, officials said.
Local train services at the Western train suburban service also run normally.
The central train has rescheduled many remote trains including 02263 Duronto Pune-Nizamuddin specifically at 2pm on July 23.
