Mumbai: Man deceives Rs 7L for fake e-commerce jobs

Mumbai: A 55-year-old man was tricked by more than Rs 7 lakh by cyber fraudsters recently for fake work.

According to FIR registered on Friday with Charkop police, on October 10, he received a message WhatsApp with an offer to get a “interesting commission” by completing online tasks for the main e-commerce portal.
But he must deposit money to start working.
On the first day, he deposited Rs 1,000 and got Rs 885.
After that, he paid total Rs 7.19 lakh with the Iming of the High Commission.
He was told that he had received a 4.19 lakh RS commission, which would make the total income of Rs 11.36 lakh.
But the cheater won’t let it go unless he deposes more money.
When the complainant said he ran out of money, Conman disappeared.
