The man complained to Mumbai Suburban District Consumer disprise redressal forum in October 2015 that the company’s senior consultant showed him celebrity photos where he emerged wigs allegedly provided by them as if the hair was planted.
The man said he made a full payment in September 2014.
The man said he was disappointed and dissatisfied because the product that was fixed on his skin looked like a normal wig, which could be bought for RS20,000-50,000.
He said the pre-guarantee of getting a “exclusive natural look” really lost.
The man said he paid an exorbitant amount due to a guarantee.
He said that when he wanted the wig to be removed he had to pay RS1,050 for the solution.
The man said he moved the forum when a refund request was rejected.
The company sent said they had a studio throughout India.
It was said they provided at least a 45-minute consultation session, where the man was told about the four procedures offered for hair loss.
The company said that the man even signed a declaration clearly stating that he had truly understood all the details about the procedure.
It is said that according to the terms and conditions of the quote, the amount cannot be returned.
But the forum said if a complainant was not satisfied with the product and care, he had the right to reject the contract.
It is said that the terms and conditions mentioned in the form of a quote or declaration do not bind it.
