Mumbai: The Indian Meteorology Department on Tuesday warned medium to intense rainfall in the city during the first half of the day.
“Medium rain spells to intense is likely to occur in isolated places in Mumbai District for the next 3 hours,” said IMD.
While the neighboring area of Thane and Navi Mumbai witnessed heavy rainfall in remote places on Monday night, the sky was relatively clearer on Tuesday.
Mumbaikars woke up with a gentle drizzle on Tuesday morning, especially in the Mulund area, Bhandup, Ghatkopar and the surrounding pocket.
After receiving a very heavy rainfall in early June, the rain was reduced occasionally now and then after June 20.
However, most Maharashtra, including Mumbai, is likely to see a heavy rain once again at the end of this week with the resurrection of the Southwest Monsun.
