Mumbai: A doctor from a private hospital in Mumbai and his family had a “bitter” experience parking vehicles in T2 parking lot on three chances recently where he was asked to go to the premium parking area with his wishes.
Talking to Toi, the doctor from Powai said, “On the night of August 1, I went to the airport to accept my relatives and at the public parking point, I was asked to go to many premiums when I insisted on going for regular parking.
After a lot of opposition and debating With officials, I was told that I could pay regular parking rates.
However, when I came out, I was re-asked to pay the Premium RS 280 level.
When I took a problem with the supervisor, he intervened and asked me to pay the regular level of Rs 160.
This is the third time I have faced the same problem.
“The airport option, however, said that there were signs for regular parking and premium.
“In addition, we close our parking lot at times when there is a flood or water in the area because of the rainy season.
During the times, we had instructed officials to be polite with motorists and arrived at a friendly solution.
