Mumbai needs 858 dispensaries, only having 199

Mumbai: emphasizes the need to improve Primary Mumbai health care, the Praja Foundation, in white paper, say the city has fewer pharmacies in proportional to the population.

“But we only have 199 general dispensari, which includes the government and BMC,” said Yogesh Mishra from Praja.
Wards K-W, P-S, R-S and T have only one for more than 1 Lakh population.
Mishra said up to 12% of the Mumbai Budget RS 39,000 Crore was allocated for health, but was ignored.
