Mumbai: Mumbai on Sunday reported 453 new cases of Coronavirus.
This happened as a sigh for Mumbaikars because the city had stadded more than 500 cases over the past two days.
On October 7, Metropolis has recorded more than 600 cases – the highest since mid-July.
The overall case has now risen to 7.47,758.
Also, the death toll has now increased to 16,158 with six people who gave up on the virus that day.
Five of the deceased was over 60 years old, while one belonged to the age group 40-60.
Five of them also have comorbidity.
The number of daily recovery in the city maximum is slightly more than new cases.
On Sunday, 457 people recovered from Covid-19, according to Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
With a 97 percent recovery rate, Mumbai has so far recorded 7,24,063 release.
The city is now abandoned with 5,028 active cases.
The overall growth rate of the Covid-19 case from October 3 to October 9 was 0.07 percent, while the doubling level was 1,057 days.
The number of closed buildings within the BMC limit has been shot to 53, while there are no active detention zones (slum and chawl) in the city.
