Mumbai: The anti-narcotics cell of the Mumbai Police (ANC) has captured 34-year-old drug vendors to be suspected of having Mephedrone worth RS 52 Lakh on the western suburbs of Jogeshwari here, an official said on Friday.
The Ghatkopar Anc unit understands Junaid Husain Qureshi in a trap set in S v Coint in Jogeshwari (East) on Thursday night, the official said.
Officials found 260 GM Mephedrone, worth Rs 52 Lakh, on charges, he said.
The investigation has revealed that Qureshi was involved in transportation, smuggling, and distribution of synthetic drugs, the official said, added that further investigation was ongoing.
