Mumbai: a 45-day-old puppy was brutally killed by an unknown person on Jalan Mira on Sunday night.
A pine has now been submitted by local activists at the Kashimira Police Station.
“The cruelty of animals has surprised everyone here because the puppy’s body was cut into two by using several sharp instruments or weapons.
It happened close to the North Garden City JP complex on Jalan Mira.
A fellow activist Munmun Singh submitted FIR, while I am me More coordinate with the police so that the culprit can be arrested, “said Mira Road Resident Herald Monteiro.
He further added that because less street lights in the area, the police so far could not track the perpetrators.
“The puppy killed comes from the mother’s dog who now takes care of four other puppies.
The female dog must breastfeed the children who are still alive even when the body of a puppy killed,” added Monteiro.
Vijay Mohanani Activists from Bombay’s animal rights (bars) said: “It is indeed a cruel crime of cruel animal.
The claw from the victim’s puppy has also been cut by an unknown cause.
We hope the police will immediately identify and order it.”
