Mumbai Rains: cm announced RS 5L for KIN from the deceased

Mumbai: Minister of Maharashtra Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday stated sadness over the loss of life at home, the collapse was triggered by landslides after heavy rains last night in Mumbai and announced the former Gratah Rs 5 Lakh for KIN from each victim.
Twenty-five people died in home collapse incidents after heavy shower, which caused severe water logging and suburban train service disorders and vehicle traffic in the metropolis city on Sunday, officials said.
Thackeray spoke with Commissioner of Civic Mumbai I S Chahal and took stock of rescue and aid operation.
He directed the authorities to ensure coordination among the national disaster response styles (NDRF), city workers, firefighters and police for rescue surgery.
The statement issued by the Office of the Minister of Chief (CMO) said Kin coins from each victim would get the Ex-Gratia RS 5 Lakh and the injured would be treated freely.
Thackeray was in a constant touch with a civil disaster control room because heavy rains began to pound the city on Saturday night.
The statement said Thackeray had asked the authorities to be vigilant and maintain a watch because the weather forecast had predicted heavy rain on Sundays too.
CM says those who live on the banks of the Mithi river and other places close to the beach must be evacuated early.
Thackeray also asked the authorities to ensure medical facilities at the Jumbo Covid-19 Center were not affected due to heavy rains.
“The steps must be taken to drain rainwater from the lowland area.
The road must be cleaned for vehicle traffic movements.
The steps must be taken to restore the earliest suburban train service,” he said.
Meanwhile, the former MP member BJP Kirit Somaiya visited the Bharatnagar area in the Mumbai Mahul area where 17 people died after a compound wall collapsed after a landslide on Sunday.
“People are afraid.
So far, 17 deaths and 23 injuries are reported.
Mafia contractors from city companies and slum mafia play with the lives of the poor,” he thought.
It’s very sad, the BJP leader added.
