Mumbai: Head of Maharashtra minister Uddhav Thackeray on Thursday took a stock situation when heavy rains criticized several countries.
During the last four days, Mumbai, neighbors Thane, and Palghar, and other districts in the Konkan area have witnessed heavy rain and it also caused a situation like flooding in several places.
The ministerial chairman office (CMO) told that Thackeray took a stock of flood situations in Ratnagiri and Raigad districts due to heavy rain in the last 24 hours and made suggestions to the authorities.
The minister’s chairman has directed the Disaster Management Agency (DMA) and other relevant departments to remain vigilant and carry out rescue operations.
By declaring that the surface of the water on the river continued to increase, he said that residents living in these areas must be careful and cooperate with administration.
“All machines must work carefully and carefully,” he added.
He also directed the authorities to make alternative arrangements for Covid-19 patients.
