Mumbai: Mumbai on Tuesday reported 279 new Coronavirus infections and one death, said an official of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
Kaseload in the country’s financial capital rose to 7,58,189, and the death toll became 16,282.
On the third day in a row, the city reported more than 200 cases of Covid-19.
It has reported 210 new infections and five deaths on Monday.
There were 2,780 Covid-19 cases active after 313 restored patients were removed from the city hospital.
With this, the total patient restored in the city rose to 7.36,584.
A total of 31,585 Covid-19 tests were carried out since Monday night, which took the total sample tested so far up to 1.17.16.068.
Mumbai has 13 closed buildings like now.
The building is sealed when five or more cases are found in place.
The average city recovery rate is 97 percent.
Twice numbers – period during double cases – now 2,244 days, and the average growth rate of cases is 0.03 percent between November 2 to 8.
