Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that Mumbai reported 270 new Covid-19 cases on Tuesday, taking the overall calculation to 7.41,661.
279 people were sent home from post-recovery hospitals today.
The total number of patients positively recovered and removed from the hospital until the date reached 7,20,478.
Meanwhile, one person with co-morbidities surrendered to the virus on Tuesday.
The death toll in Mumbai reached 15,952.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 97 percent.

At present, there is no ‘active detention zone’ in Mumbai City.
However, to contain the spread of infection, BMC has sealed 22 buildings in the city.
