Mumbai: Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) told Mumbai City reported 664 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday.
The total caseload reached 7.26.284.
During the day, 744 patients were also dismissed from post-recovery hospitals on Wednesday.
Until now, 7,00,567 patients have recovered and discharged.
Nine people also surrendered to the virus that took the total number of deaths to 15,573.
Among those who died, six had co-morbidity and eight above 60 years.
At present, there are 7,816 active cases.
The recovery rate in Mumbai is 96 percent and the doubling rate is 844 days.
Meanwhile, 31,944 tests were carried out in Mumbai on Wednesday.
The total test carried out until the date is 73,85,681.
