Mumbai: Mumbai continues to report a surge in new Covid-19 cases with more than 400 people testing the positive virus.
The total case count in the maximum city has increased to 7.44,571 with the addition of 416 cases on Wednesday.
During the day, 329 people were also sent home.
So far, 7.22,950 patients have recovered.
Four people, including three with co-morbidity, also surrendered to the virus, said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
The victim’s victim died at 15,981.
Lately, the active Covid-19 case has seen a surge in the last few days.
At present, 3,187 people undergo treatment in the city.
The recovery rate is at 97 percent and the doubling rate is 1,479 days.
The number of closed buildings also rose to 32.
