Mumbai saw 447 new Covid cases, 1 death

Mumbai: Mumbai reported 447 new Covid-19 cases and only one new death on Tuesday, in accordance with the BRihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) bulletin.
Infection calculations jumped to 10.52,176 and the death toll became 16,667.
Mumbai recorded less than 500 cases on the second day in a row.
The day before, the city reported 356 cases and five deaths.
Mumbai on Tuesday also registered the number of deaths as low as January 2 this year when there was no death because the pandemic had been recorded in the city.
The city’s peposititivity level is 1.29 percent.
In the last 24 hours, 34,543 Covid-19 tests, nearly 5,000 fewer days from the previous day, was carried out in the city, raising the test calculation carried out so far to 1.56.13,824.
With 798 more patients removed from the hospital, the number of cases restored rose to 10.27,891.
The city recovery rate is 98 percent, according to the bulletin.
Caseload’s doubling level was increased to 808 days, while the overall growth rate of cases for the period between 1 to 7 February was 0.09 percent.
Significantly, the number of Active Covid-19 cases has dropped below 5,000.
At present, Mumbai has 4,783 active Covid-19 patients.
About 85 percent or 385 of 447 new patients did not show symptoms.
In the last 24 hours, only 64 patients were hospitalized and 19 of them were subject to oxygen support.
Also, only 1,336 out of a total of 37,018 beds provided for coronavirus patients occupied in the city.
Two buildings in the city are sealed due to the high number of patients active.
On January 7, 2022, Mumbai has reported the highest cases of 20,971.
