Mumbai: Modap-Sagar and Tansya Lakes who supplied water to the city of Mumbai began to overflow on Thursday.
The Civic’s body also added that 53.86 percent of water is available at seven lakes that supply water to Mumbai.
BrihanMumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said that the modest-sagar lake began to flow at 3:24, while Lake Tansya began to flow at 5:48 a.m.
on Thursday.
“Two modage-sagar lake gates and one gate of Lake Tansya have been opened,” said Civic’s body.
Tulshi Lake and Vihar Lake began to overflow on July 16 and 18.
