Mumbai: Some vaccination centers in the city have reported a slowdown in Covaxin supply.
Bharat Biotech vaccine is mainly used for vaccinations aged between 15 and 17 years now.
In all states, the district began shaking shares in it because new inventories had not arrived in the past three weeks.
In the BKC Jumbo Center in Bandra, there has been availability for the past three days.
The source said that they prioritized those who came for the second dose.
“We are reminded of the situation in June-July last year,” said an official, added that they planned to give 100 doses on Tuesday.
Administration of the second dose of vaccines for the teen population begins on Monday.

Neelam Andrade, the Dean of Nesco Center, said that they shared their shares with several others on Monday.
Dr.
Sachin Desai, the state immunization officer, said that the country has 13 doses of Lakh Covaxin, but if vaccination for adolescents take steps, they can face tension in the coming days.
“Some districts who cannot spend their shares are immediately asked to share their shares with districts where absorption is more,” he said.
