Mumbai: The 35-year-old transgender was arrested by the police who damaged the trade racket and saved five women from Locity Nehru Nagar in Suburban Vile Parle, said an official.
In the tip-off, the police took the transgender who led the police to a small room where five women nested, he said.
The defendant used to encourage women to become prostitution work for money, he said.
A case was listed under the Criminal Code and the prevention of the Immoral Trade Act (ribbon), the official added.
