Mumbai: Ranking University of Mumbai from National Assessment and Accreditation Board (NAAC) will be valid for seven years compared to five to 2028.
High-performance institutions are given an extension based on scores.
MU recently bagged a ++, with a score of 3.65 CGPA (average cumulative points), and became one of the highest ranking state universities in the state, so far.
In accordance with the new education policy, MU will also be recognized as a research university.
