Mumbai: The Narcotics Control Bureau of Mumbai (NCB) on Sunday captured allegations of drug sellers with drugs worth Rs 1 Crore.
Allegations have been identified as Hussain BI.
Acting on specific information, the NCB Team Mumbai Mounted Surveillance near Nagada Junction, Mumbai and intercepted a woman and confiscated 1.8 kg of hashish in Nagpas Junction, Mumbai, NCB said.
According to the initial investigation capture the hashish has arrived from Jammu and Kashmir.
“During the operation, it was revealed that drug mafia was late using small children and women for drug trafficking,” said Sameer Wankhede, director of Zonal NCB, Mumbai.
NCB has registered cases and active interrogations.
In another operation on July 10, NCB launched a drive in the Maheme area of Mumbai and intercepted one drug seller, Wasim Mohammad Shamim Nagor from Mahim Beach along with the medium number of Hashish.
“Acting on complaints from Mahin residents, the NCB official team continued to supervise.
The NCB team also found many children and adolescents in that place.
They are advised for the adverse effects of drug abuse and their parents are also told about the situation.” Wankhede said.
Introduction Investigations have revealed that the drug peddler peddled drugs for many young people in the area and slowly made them addicted to drugs.
Further investigation is underway.
