Mumbai: The maker and film model of Yusuf Lakdawala, 76, who were arrested by the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) in the money laundering case from a kasing, died at Arthur Road Jail on Thursday.
The Lakdawala, who was unhealthy for several days and was treated at a prison hospital, was taken dead to the JJ Hospital on Thursday at around 11:30 a.m.

The lakdawala was detained in the money laundering case related to the alleged conspiracy and forging document 1949 to buy a main plot of four acres in Khandala which seemed to come from former Nawab Hyderbad.
Ed had shown a court that he had learned that the Lakdawala was arrested by the Mumbai Police Violation Wing (EOW) from Ahmedabad Airport “while trying to escape from the country”.

During the hearing, Dr.
V Murthy’s medical officer, a Uro onsology specialist, said that the Lakdawala “after the examination was advised to do a blood test and receive radiation treatment”, but he refused to do it.
