Mumbai: Cut out in the recent cabinet reshuffle, Munde’s brothers – National Secretary BJP Pankaja and MP Pritam – held a power show at their Worli office on Tuesday.
Party workers from Beed, loyal to Mundes, gathered in large numbers and several in Worli even submitted resignation from various posts, which were rejected.
Pankaja, old daughter from the end of Gopinath Munde, on Sunday had attended the BJP National Secretary meeting and then met PM Narendra Modi and the National President of the Party J P Nadda.
“I also met Nadda and conveyed him that people were upset and sent their resignation.
He said he was sure I would be able to calm them.
The leaders in Delhi would not eliminate me (political career).
I might not be a cabinet minister, but I am a person National leader, “said Pankaja.
