Coimbatore: City Police on Thursday arrested another Hindu Munnani official to embarrass the statue of St Sebastian in the Holy Trinity Church near Puliakulam on Sunday night.
The police identified who was arrested as Deamak aka Vivek, 25, from Vellalore.
Vivek is Hindu Secretary General Munnani for the Sungam area in the city.
According to the police, Vivek was the person who jumped over the compound wall of the Church and harmed the Statue of St Sebastian.
His friend Murthy alias Marudhachalamurthy escaped.
The 16-year-old boy from Ramanathapuram and M Bima Madky alias Madankumar, 23, a truck driver from Vellalore, was arrested on Wednesday with respect to case.tnn
