New Delhi: A 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly killing supplier of bread during business competition in the Prem Nagar area in the national capital, police said on Wednesday.
The defendant, Satish, is the resident of Mangolpuri Outer Delhi.
He was previously involved in 20 cases of theft, robbery, murder efforts, weapons actions, they said.
Finally Jitender and Deshraj had been arrested in connection with the murder, police said.
The police said competition began when the victim of Ram Ratan, who began supplying bread in Prem Nagar, won over Jitender customers.
Angry Over IT, Jitender, Bread Supplier in the same area, decided to get Ram Ratan eliminated when he suffered a loss in his business.
According to the police, the incident took place on May 2 when Ram Rattan went to a general store in Prem Nagar to supply bread.
As planned, Jitender has called his brother-in-law Satish, Deshraj and Sukkha there.
Satish and his friend Sukkha arrested Ram Rattan and Jitender stabbed him several times before they escaped from the place.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Pranav Tayal said, “On Tuesday, an information was received that the defendant Satish had been hiding in Shahid Nagar, Seemapuri.
The team carried out an attack on Nearapuri and arrested the defendant.” He said that Satish, which was released with a guarantee from the court in December 2020, was once again involved in evil.
Since the murder in May, he hid in seemapuri and did not use any cellphone, DCP said.
