Tikamgarh: Madhya Pradesh Police on Monday arrested a desired defendant in connection with the murder of the wife of former Union Minister P Rangarajan Kumaramangalam, said an official.
The police also recovered several robed ornaments and other items worth RS 33 Lakh from the defendant, he said.

P Rangarajan Kumaramangalam served as Minister of Union in the Government Atal Bihari Vajpayee between 1998 and 2001.
His son was also active in politics.
