Dhaka: Mushfiqur Rahim and Lati Das are recalled to the National Squad on Thursday for the Twenty20 Twenty20 International Series next month against New Zealand.
Mushfiqur and Liton missed Bangladesh’s amazing 4-1 T20 to loot Australia earlier this month because of the rules of Covid-19.
Opening Tamim Iqbal’s Batsman, who was also absent from the Australian series due to a knee injury, was abandoned because he had not fully recovered.
Batsman Mohammad Mithun was dropped and Bangladesh added the leg-spinner of Aminul Islam Biplob to the squad.
The black hat arrived in Dhaka on August 24 for the series that came ahead of the T20 World Cup in October and November in the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
The match will be held behind closed doors on September 1 3, 5, 8 and 10 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka.
