Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk has sold shares worth almost $ 13 billion since the beginning of November when the richest person in the world aroused on Twitter users about burdening 10 percent of its shares in the car maker.
The billionaire sell 934,091 other shares of $ 906 million on Monday to pay taxes on the implementation of stock options to buy 2.13 million shares in Tesla, according to Ahings Securities.
Musk said on November 6.
He will sell 10 percent of his shares if Twitter users agree.
He has a combination of around 244 million shares through the trust and choice of its shares, bringing his ownership in Tesla to around 23 percent on June 30.
That includes 170 million shares held by his belief.
Tweet is not clear.
Musk did not describe if he intends to collect 10 percent of his shares indirectly through trust or if the stock option is also part of the agreement.
