Noida: A total of 68 children reported missing from Noida and other areas reunited with their parents under the “MUSKA 4 operation” Noida.
Of these 68 children, 48 has been reported missing from the Gautam District of Budh Nagar.
One of them is Odisha.
The ten children reported missing were tracked in a few hours and left to their families.
Starting June 21, operations throughout the month to track lost children involved 40 teams from various police stations.
While 12 children come from other districts in Uttar Pradesh, eight belonging to other countries, police said.
Devendra Yadav, Inspector Responsible for the Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Police Nida, said 21 of these children were found living in different shelter houses in Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi.
“Twenty children come from various districts and other countries.
One of them is from Odisha, four of Bihar, one from Haryana and two of Delhi,” he added.
The children found by the police were handed over to their families after being produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
Under the “MUSKA OPERATION” throughout the month, the police team was given a list of 58 children who had been reported missing from Noida and other areas – 10 children were tracked in several hours of lodging.
The police were told to find children roaming aimlessly on the road, working in a restaurant or living in a house.
