VHP calls for mass prayers on Tuesday The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has called on temples, Daivashanas and Bhajana Mandirs in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasaragod District to hold special prayers on Tuesday, to stop the Instance of Desecration Koragaja, Temple and Daivasanas.
Zonal Secretary VHP Sharan Pumpwell said that some examples of Hindu Dewa and Daivas’ dismissal, which was reported in the past, had hurt the sentiment of Hinduism.
“Surprisingly Hindu Gods and Daivaradhane, sharing images hurting religious sentiments on social media, tarnishing the holy Nagabanas, placing condoms in the Temple Donation Box, Daivasanas, Mandir Bhajana and dressed like Koragajja has hurt Hinduism sentiments.
Hindu temples in Coastal districts must hold special prayers looking for divine intervention, to punish those who are behind such actions, “Sharan said.
He asked for the management of the Hindu Temple, religious leaders, organizations and worshipers to unite to protect religious places in their respective regions.
State President of BJP and Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel said the government would not tolerate the efforts of anti-national forces to disrupt peace in coastal districts.
He pointed the police to act hard against the defendant in the vittal incident.
