New Delhi: The case has been registered by cyber cells from Delhi police after receiving complaints about unknown groups upload photos of Muslim women in an application, police said on Thursday.
The Delhi commission for women has issued a notification to Delhi police and look for detailed actions taken in this matter.
Delhi Police Pro, Chinmoy Balmal, said, “Acting on complaints received on the national cyber reporting portal regarding ‘Sulli’s cellular application, cases below part 354 – A from the Indian criminal code have been registered on Wednesday and investigations.” He said notification has been sent to the ‘Github’ application to share relevant details.
