Hubballi: Head of Sri Ram Sene Pramod Mutantik on Tuesday threatened to hold a Dharna in front of the office of all Deputy Commissioners and Tahsildar throughout Karnataka on Friday if the state government refused to raise his prohibition on Jathre and Yatra.
Questioning the reason for the state government in defending by restrictions on religious fetes, Mutantik said, “Almost all commercial activities are permitted, and the government has loosened most of the limitations.
When the state government has raised restrictions on the bar and pub, why continue the sidewalks on Jathre and Yatra? “Mutalik said that BJP will be faced with the prospect of political extinction if it continues to conflict with Hinduism.
He added that such limitations affected the prospects of various businesses that rely on this celebration for income to deal with problems in a balanced way.
