Patna: The police are looking for one Kumar Subhash following an explosion in a flat and subsequent recovery from the body of a soaking man in the field of chemistry in the city of Balughat from the city of Muzaffarpur on Saturday night.
Muzaffarpur SSP Jayant Kant said the body was cut into pieces and put in a plastic container after soaking wet in chemicals.
The FSL team visited the place on Sunday and collected samples.
The victim has not been identified, he added.
The fire tender was pressed into the service to extinguish the fire after the explosion.
Landlord, Sunil Kumar Sharma, told the police that he had given a flat two rental rooms to Subhash Kumar, who introduced himself as a resident of Karpori Gram in the Samastipur district.
Subhash fled after the incident.
The locals said the explosion was very strong tremor felt in a 1 km radius.
SSP said, “The landlord did not verify the police from tenants.
We also asked him.”
