PATNA: Authorities have detained one Sanjay Pandit (30) on charges of murdering a 10-year-old boy who’d allegedly found him at an objectionable position along with his mom.
Pandit is currently a resident of Shivahi Patti at Muzaffarpur.
The deceased child was known as Neeraj Kumar, a resident of Laxminia village beneath the Baruraj police station place at Muzaffarpur district.
His body had been recovered by a clinic on the outskirts of Laxminia village on Saturday.
Pandita daily wager, was residing at Laxminia for the previous month.
SHO of all Baruraj police channel Mukesh Kumar stated a neighborhood court led Pandit to judicial custody Sunday.
He explained the thing came to light following sailors seen Neeraj’s body from the canal on Saturday morning.
“Neeraj had gone lost Friday night.
His loved ones had, but not withstanding any complaint with the authorities until the body has been recovered,” he explained.
The SHO said Neeraj’s 45-year-old mother lodged a complaint from Pandit on Saturday, accusing him of kidnapping and murdering his son.
“On the basis of this FIR, Pandit was arrested for interrogation and later detained.
Pandit confessed he had accepted the kid to the banks of this canal along with strangulated him to departure Friday night,” he explained.
“Pandit told authorities that Neeraj had witnessed his mom with him at an objectionable position a couple of days ago,” he explained, adding authorities are searching for out whether the lady can also be involved with the murder.
“She is going to be interrogated shortly,” that the SHO added.
