Mumbai: Calling the Government of Uddhav Thackeray the most corrupt in Maharashtra’s history, opposition leader in the Devendra Assembly Fadnivis accused him of extortion of large scale on Saturday.
The day after Uddhav claimed that the center misused the central agency in the state, Fadnavis said Ed and CBI were here because the court ordered an investigation.
“Uddhav must decide whether he is with those who supply and consume drugs or with agents,” he said in Nagpur.
Fadniv said the I-T department has revealed that Thackeray is a government where Dalals (brokers) survive.
He said Thackeray’s personal ambition was the reason why experienced politicians in Shiv Sena had not been made cm.
He said many years ago whether it was the desire of Uddhav to get up from other people who pushed Narayan Rane and Raj Thackeray out of the party.
He referred to CM’s comments on Friday that he never wanted to become the head of government in the state.
“For how long Uddhav will say he doesn’t want to be cm,” he said.
He said people had chosen the BJP-Sena Alliance and not Congress and NCP, the parties tied by Uddhav later.
“You (Uddhav) have formed a government with deception,” said Fadnivis.
