The author also said that he read the classic Ramayanas – including Ramayana Valmiki, Adbhut Ramayana, Adhyatma Ramayana – and ‘Saket’ poetry by Maithili Sharan Gupts along with modern objusts as part of his research.
“I deliberately didn’t read Kavita Kane’s book ‘Sita Sister’ because I felt it would affect my writing.
I plan to read it now,” he shared.
Talking about being a debuted writer during a pandemic when the world was under Kuncian, Smriti said that he was lucky enough to be published by Bloomsbury.
The author has written previous scripts and produces performances for television.
Talking about the shift from writing for TV to write novels, Smriti said that writing books gave far more creative freedom.
“Meanwhile, writing a long narrative, compared to scripts, challenging your confidence,” he told us.
While the book is a file of fiction, it is noted that there are several modern terminology used in it.
When we questioned the author about it, he explained, “I want politics between the kingdom in the story to reflect the politics between the countries that we have today to make stories more relevant in our day.

Also Ram-Rajya has been Being a big political subject today, I feel it is a good opportunity to just see what Ram-Rajya should be achieved.
RAM is a great potential king but every young man or leader must sacrifice in their personal life.
The author now plans to write a historical fiction novel.
“This is the story of the Buddha’s wife, Yashodhara which he left when he was pregnant,” he said.
