Mangaluru: Mangaluru Mla Ut Khader on Monday claims that the increase in the position of deputy opposition in the assembly has nothing to do with the problem of MLC CM Ibrahim.
Khader told reporters here that the post remained empty and the senior party leaders decided to give him a chance.
In his first press, Meet here after being appointed as Deputy Leader of Congress in the Assembly, Khader said Cm Ibrahim was still in Congress.
“Cm Ibrahim is in Congress, and he will continue to be the leader of our party in the future too.
I have the responsibility to bring everyone at a party together.
I will fulfill my assignment responsibly.
Former Minister of Union hasn’t talked about leaving Congress when I talk to him, “said Khader.
On Ibrahim’s allegations that Congress ignored the minority, Khader said there was no other party that gave many opportunities for minorities such as Congress.
“In the BC Krishna government, seven people from the minority community were made by the minister.
Siddaramaiiah has also provided an opportunity for members of a minority.
The ‘Ahinda’ and ‘Alinga’ movement called Ibrahim is synchronized with the Congress ideology,” Khader said, adding that the congress believed in equality.
“I have been chosen for the post after a series of consultations with all the leaders of the senior Congress including opposition leaders in the Siddaramaiiah Assembly and KPCC President DK Shivakumar.
I will work to bring everyone at the party to be confident.
Get rid of BJP, which moves in hate politics, is the main goal Congress, “Khader said.
In his political career, Khader said he had served in NSUI, the Youth and Seva Dal Congress in various roles before becoming Secretary of the KPCC.
He was chosen to the legislature four times and has served as ministers in four portfolios.
He also served as district ministers for four districts.
“This party has considered my experience when choosing the position of Deputy Congress leader at the Karnataka panel,” he said, dedicating his elevation in the party to his constituency community.
