Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala University Senate Meeting scheduled for Thursday will consider the amendment proposal to empower the university to remember the certificate released by it if they are then found wrong.
The amendment said the university was required by the issuance of certificates to several students after they got excess values suspected of being errors in the tabulation software.
In 2019, 23 students were issued certificates degrees by giving them an additional sign.
It was found that the user ID and password representative registrar was misused to manipulate the list of signs.
The Deputy Registrar was then suspended and the part of the section was identified as the kingpin behind the manipulation was then dismissed from the service.
Even though the University was originally looking for a branch of crime investigation against an accidental ‘gift’, the University had not submitted documents to the probe agent.
The university has faced severe criticism for delays in canceling certificates issued for 23 students.
The Senate Special Meeting Agenda plans to pass amendments at the University of Kerala Stations first so that “degrees, diplomas, titles, etc., can be called at any time after being made where the evidence is displayed before the syndicate to show it anyone who has a degree, diploma, certificate, title, etc.
Syndicate To complete the specified study program and pass the specified examination if the situation guarantees correction and re-illumination of degrees, diplomas, certificates, titles, etc.
and if synchronization can make such a decision accordingly, “he said.
