Myanmar forces killed 25 in Raid in the city

Myanmar’s security forces killed at least 25 people on Friday in confrontation with opponents from a military junta in a city in the center of Southeast Asia, said a citizen and myanmar-speaking media on Sunday.
A military spokesman did not respond to the call asking for comments about violence in Depayin in the Sagaing area, around 300 km (200 miles) north of the capital, Naypyidaw.
The global new light managed by the state from Myanmar said “Armed Terrorists” have ambushed security forces patrolling there, killing one of them and injuring six.
Said the attacker backed after retaliation by security forces.
Myanmar has plunged into chaos by the February 1 coup against the elected leader Aung San Suu Kyi, with violence that burns in many parts of the country more than 53 million people.
A resident of Depayin, who did not want to be identified for fear of retaliation, said four military trucks dropped soldiers in the village on Friday.
The young man from the local community defense forces was formed to oppose the junta, take a position to face them.
However, they only had emergency weapons and were forced to return by security forces’ firing power, the resident said.
25 bodies have been collected after the battle, the resident said by telephone.
The BBC Burmese Service website and compared Lwin Khet news services brought similar accounts.
Reuters cannot verify details independently.
The defense power of the Depayin said on the 18 Facebook page of its members had been killed and 11 injured.
Community defense forces have been established by the opponents of the Junta in many parts of Myanmar, some of which are related to the government of national unity established underground as a rival of military administration.
About two dozen ethnic armed groups have struggled for decades on the Myanmar border, but Depayin is in the heart of the majority of Bamar ethnic, which also dominates the armed forces.
Violence because the coup has driven more than 230,000 people from their homes, the UN said.
It also said more than 880 people had been killed by security forces since the coup and more than 5,200 in detention.
Military authorities say these numbers are incorrect, but have not provided their own estimates.
The army said the assumption of power was in line with the constitution.
Allegedly fraud in the November election swept the Suu Kyi party, although the allegations were dismissed by the former body of the election.
