Myanmar’s authority recapted more than 100 political prisoners after amnesty

Naypyitaw: Myanmar’s authority has paid around 110 political prisoners who were released earlier this week under the announcement of General Amnesty by Junta, reported local media.
Family members have said that some of the people they loved were arrested again “right at the gibper entrance,” While the others were brought back in a few hours after returning home, reporting Radio Free Asia [RFA].
Citing sources, publications, prisoners are now being held in police custody under Myanmar’s anti-terrorism law.
“We were destroyed – our mother was 84 and her health deteriorated,” RFA said as a member of the Lay Family Awam said, with the terms of anonymity.
Naing was arrested on May 21 and sentenced to three years in prison on charges of spreading “fake news [or] directly or indirectly a crime against a government employee,” “We went to meet him in prison, hoping for the whole.
The family will be reunited again and Happy.
We saw it from a distance, and he was taken away.
We are not allowed to say anything, “added family members.
According to publications, Junta on Monday has released 1,316 detainees from various facilities throughout the country and 4,320 prisoners who face ongoing cases for anti-junta activities, including famous politicians, celebrities, film actors and journalists.
But the signs suggested that Amnesti was just an offer by Junta to calm the international community amid criticism of his government, observers told RFA.
Previously in June, Junta had announced general amnesty and released almost 200 detainees from detention throughout the country.
On February 1, the military seized power in Myanmar, imprisoning the ruler of the De Facto Nation Aung San Suu Kyi and then the President won Myint and pushed the mass protest demanding civilian power.
