According to sources, Luai entered Mizoram late a week and has been granted shelter in a secure place in the country.
The lawyer-turned-politician was made as principal minister of the Chin country on April 2016.

Luai was arrested by the Myanmar Armed Forces but was later published.
He’s one of the 24 Myanmar legislators, chosen at the 2020 general elections, and over 16,000 individuals who fled the state following military crackdown on anti-coup protesters and obtained refuge in Mizoram, ” the sources stated.
