Naypyitaw (Myanmar): Six months after seizing power from the elected government, Myanmar’s military leader on Sunday repeated his promise to hold new elections in two years and cooperate with Southeast Asian countries about finding political solutions for his country.
“We must create conditions to hold multiparty elections that are free and fair,” said Senior Aung Hlaing General during the recorded television address.
