MySuru: Just before the third wave of Covid, Mysuru Airport has recorded the highest air passengers 2021-22 in December 2021.
However, the number declined in January 2022.
According to data, in December 2021, 13,937 passengers used the airport.
It was 12,762 in December 2020.
The growth was 9.2%.
Director of Airport Mysuru R Manjunath said in January, the number of air travelers had fallen.
“In December 2021, we saw a good number of passengers.
The passenger load reached 80% -90%.
With Covid-19 cases declined, we expect more passengers in the coming days,” he said.
“December is good for us.
There is a good bow rushing to Mysuru and neighboring districts, especially Kodagu,” said BS Prashanth, the honor of the Association of Travels Mysuru Association.

Around April and December 2021, as many as 72,937 passengers used the airport.
