MySuru: Four Years After the first public bicycle sharing system in India was launched in MySore City, the city was driving another “Cycle4change” project to encourage bicycle users by giving them a bicycle / bicycle trajectory that was dedicated to city streets.
The plan is to leave a 1.5 meter minimum room on the road side by side with the sidewalk for a bicycle.
The trajectory will be marked, back up only for bicycle users, with eye patches and signal poles.
This is expected to increase the moral of bicycle users.
This project is an initiative of the Directorate of Tanah Urban Transportation under the Scheme of the Government of the Government.
MySuru City Corporation, an executive agent, has taken the initiative and floating tender inviting contractors to make tracks on Jalan Kanharaja Urs Baru, JLB Road, Krishnaraja Boulevard, Chamaraja Double Road and Radhakrishna Avenue.
“When Mysuru launched Trintrin at first, we thought the bicycle track would be provided for safety, but nothing happened,” Kiran said, Trintrin users.
MySuru got his first bicycle lane at Narasimharaja Boulevard near Lake Karanji one and a half decades before.
It is the first line and only dedicated and today, this route is used by vehicle users.
Before the launch of the Trintrin project, the bicycle lane was marked in JLB Road in front of the Office of Urban Development Authority and immediately washed away because there was no maintenance.
After setting the trintrin docking station, there was a proposal to make songs in Mirza Road, but did not take off.
Now that the Civic Agency is interested in the bicycles4change project, the process occurs rapidly and within a month the songs will be arranged to give their room riders on a busy stretch.
Mahesh, DC (Development), PKS, checked places at the intersection of Krishnaraja Boulevard and Jalan Kanharaja Urs ahead of the project implementation.
This project has been taken under the government of the United States and MySuru schemes have been leading in implementing projects given wide roads.
Stretching near the Court of Law, University of MySuru, Maharaja’s College, Young Office and Music University will soon have songs.
Detailed project reports ready and tenders have floated.
The work is expected to begin soon.
