Hazaribag: His eight-year-old couple and son died of a mysterious fire broke out in their homes in the Lohartoli area in the OKNI area under the Police Station Lohsingghna City Hazaribag on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Munna Biswakarma (45), his wife Sonam Kumari (40) and his son Ayush Kumar.
Two daughters of couples – Bhumika Kumari and Kumsum Kumari – escape without stopping when they sleep in another room with their aunt, Kalpana Devi.
SP Karthik S, who went to place, said they were all burning alive and the bodies were sent to the Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital.
“The medical council has been established by the Deputy Commissioner for Post Mortem of the Bodies.
A fir it has also been submitted in connection with the incident at the Lohsingghna Police Station,” he said.
SP further said the cause of the fire was not confirmed.
“We have established a forensic team to check the cause of a broken fire around 2:30 a.m.
And told us and we called the fire brigade.
We can remove the bodies only after the fire went out.
“Speaking with media people, Kalpana said the family went to attend their relative wedding ceremony in the city and returned around 2am and went to bed.
He claimed that when they entered the room, someone he could not identify locked the door from the outside and burned the house.
The police, however, declined to comment until the investigation was over.
The late, Biswakarma, worked as a LIC Development Officer officer, D Tiwari.
Staff from the LIC department stated surprisingly why someone killed Biswakarma.
